Guangde Yuanxin CNC Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. signed an agreement in April 2017 to establish its operations in the Western Zone of the Guangde County Development Zone. The company originated as Yuandou Foundry Co., Ltd. in Taicang City, Jiangsu Province. It is a manufacturer specializing in the production of gray iron and ductile iron castings for use in air compressor pump bodies, casings, machine tool beds, machine tools, and other components supporting the broader machinery industry. Founded in 2005, the company occupies a site of 30,000 square meters and currently employs more than 100 staff, including 12 engineering and technical personnel, one of whom holds the title of senior engineer. Construction on the Guangde Yuanxin CNC Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. project commenced in August 2018, with a total agreed investment of RMB 550 million to be implemented in three phases. Phase I of the project covers 40 mu of land and involves an investment of RMB 220 million, of which RMB 150 million is allocated to production equipment, and RMB 65 million to plant construction and equipment foundations. The phase includes the construction of a brick-and-concrete structure factory building with a floor-to-ceiling height of 17.5 meters and a gross floor area of 20,000 square meters.
The first-phase project of the company primarily involves the construction of Workshop No. 3, the procurement of three Suzhou Maiter electric furnaces, two Wuxi Xinan mold-type furan-resin sand production lines, as well as a Shimadzu spectrometer from Japan, a shot-blasting machine and a sand-mixing machine from Changzhou Haodi, a tensile testing machine, a metallographic analysis instrument, and other advanced ancillary laboratory equipment. These facilities have now been put into operation.
The company’s Phase I project is expected to commence production and operation in the second half of 2021. Upon reaching full capacity, it will have an annual output of 30,000 tonnes of core components and castings for CNC heavy machinery, with key products including machine tool core components, CNC machining centers, vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, CNC gantry-type traveling boring and milling machines, and vertical machining center series.
